1. Attention all 9th Graders!  You are invited to design the invitation to the end of the year cruise. Here is what you need to do to enter the contest:

* Design the invitation on 8 by 11 inch paper

* Return your entry to the contest box in the office no later than March 9th
*Make sure your name is on the back of the design

Last year's theme was "Sail the Knight Away", but this year you can make up a new one.  The winner will get a $25 iTunes gift card. Good luck and be creative!

2. Upcoming freshman ! Interested in running for an ASB position at Bothell High School? Bothell ASB Executive Council packets will be available on March 1st and are due on March 15th.  Interviews will be held here at Canyon Park on Wednesday, March 28th from 2:40-5:30pm.

3. 9th Graders : Do you want to be a Bothell High School Cheerleader for the 2012-13 school year?  Tryout details have been announced on the Bothell Cheer website: http://www.nsd.org/bhscheertryoutdetails   Paperwork will be available from Mr. Gault at Bothell High School in room 115 beginning February 28th.  Representing Bothell High School in this way is a huge responsibility, opportunity, and privilege!  All candidates have required meetings to attend, so check out the website for more information!  The coaches will be on campus Wednesday, March 14th after school to host a meeting for all interested.

4. Hoping to earn some good money this summer?   The Department of Ecology Youth Corps is looking for some hard working teens who want to clean up the environment AND earn money.  Here's the basic information:  
4 week job working 7.5 hours per day/ 37.5 hours per week 
Earn over $1300
Must be 14 - 17 years old on the first day of work
Lots of competition for these jobs - get your application in early
Deadline to apply - April 10, 2012 - Online applications are PREFERRED

5.Interested in aviation?  Thinking you might like to be a pilot some day? Aviation Academy is sponsored by the Washington Pilots Association. Pilots donate their time to teach students about planes, flight, air traffic control, weather, and navigation. Class is held at Paine Field in Everett (near Boeing plant) - 2 nights per week.
$60 fee for materials, books and (weather permitting) graduation flight.
Class size is limited to 30 students, first-come, first-served.
Classes start April 23, 2012.
