PREVIOUS INFORMATION
Link Crew: needs leaders to volunteer to be school ambassadors during the January 3rd District In-Service being hosted at WHS. This will require you to be at WHS on the morning of Tuesday, January 3rd to welcome teachers, organize the morning's events, and help show teachers their way around the building. This opportunity will earn you 5 community service hours and perhaps give you the chance to say hello to one of your favorite former teachers from junior high. Please sign up this week outside Mrs. Olson's room.
Candy Cane Grams: are being sold during both lunches starting this Thursday, December 8, to Thursday, December 15. The candy cane grams will be delivered this Friday and the following Friday, depending on when ordered. One gram is $1 and we have a special of 3 grams for $2. Please know your recipient's 5th period teacher's room number
The Annual WHS Holiday Food Drive: is going on now through Friday, December 16th. Please donate healthy, non-perishable food items to the box in 3rd period classes. For a list of recommended food items, please see the flyer on the outside of the collection box. Honor Society students--you can earn 1 hour of community service for every 25 items--see your 3rd period teacher for a verification slip. Donations will be collected and counted from 3rd period classes every Wednesday and Friday during the drive. Principal Criscione has offered his office to store the food, which means that if we collect enough food, we might be able to kick him out of his office! Last year WHS students and staff donated over 4,000 pounds of food--lets work together to beat that record! Questions see Mrs. Skone.
Cartooning Club: Interested in writing or drawing your own comics? Come to Cartooning Club every Thursday after school to learn new talents and make new friends! Cartooning Club is held in Mr. Rumsey's room, #605 in the old brick building, from 1:40 - 4 PM. All skill levels are welcome!!
Students and Staff: Please stop by the ASB display case across from the Main Office to check out the new display featuring photos of WHS staff members as kids. See how many "Old School" staff photos you can identify! The individual who can correctly identify the most staff photos will win a prize! Answer sheets are available near the display and can be dropped in the box in the Main Office. Good luck!
Woodinville High School Theatre Company presents its annual Dramafest! Student-directed one-act plays will be performed at the Northshore Performing Arts Center on December 14th, 15th, and 16th at 2:30. This exciting evening includes awards, a raffle, and the announcement of the spring musical! Tickets are $3 (students/seniors) or $4 (general) each day and for Best of Fest. For those who wish to attend all three afternoons and Friday evening, a Fest Pass may be purchased for $12 (students/seniors) or $15 (general). See you at the fest!
