The Honor Society annual clothing drive is here and will continue until November 23. This year we will be donating all clothing items to Threads and Treads. Threads and Treads is a Free Clothing Bank of Northshore School District located at Canyon Park Junior High School. This service is operated by volunteers, open Thursdays 4-6pm, and serves families of the Northshore SD. Families are welcome to shop for 3 outfits a month. The service's main focus is clothing for school age to young adult (high school), and parents. Thread and Treads does not have infant or toddler clothing, or pajamas. They are hoping to get winter coats again this year! If you would like to donate items for this drive, please bring all items to the Career Center before school and options. Small articles such as socks and mittens are 5 items for 1 community service hour, medium articles such as t-shirts, shoes, and shorts are 3 to an hour, and large articles such as coats, jackets, and jeans are 2 to an hour. You can receive a maximum of 3 hours for this drive. Only quality items please! No holes or stained clothing.
WHS Holiday Bazaar Vendor Applications: The annual WHS Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair is coming up on December 3rd, and we are in need of vendors! If you or someone you know makes and sells crafts, handbags, scarves, candles, jewelry, body products, etc., this is a great opportunity to earn money for your own pockets. Vendor fees are $20 for students, faculty, and clubs and $45 for the community. Applications are available on the WHS website and are due November 18 to Erin Osgood or room 101.
