ECHO
Scholarship deadline extended to June 4th!
The ECHO Scholarship is a
$4,000 scholarship (dispersed over 4 years) to students who are interested in
becoming Community Leaders. The deadline
has been extended to June 4th. See or
email Mrs. Yamada if you're interested in applying.

Honor
Society would like to recognize your accomplishment at the Induction Ceremony
on Thursday, May 19th. Please
send a picture of yourself doing community service, or just a well-liked photo

JET College
Fair - Tuesday, May 17th, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM: If you are interested in learning
more about 15 Jesuit colleges and universities from around the
country you may want to attend the Jesuit Excellence Tour college fair.
Universities in attendance include Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Fordham,
Creighton, Santa Clara, Seattle University, Loyola U. Chicago, and more. The
fair will be in the Casey Atrium at Seattle University May 17th.

Competition! WHS sent 17 students to the
finals. Out of the 17 students, 16 of them placed in the Top 10

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS: Parking applications for 2011-2012 will be available outside of Robin's office on Friday, May 13th. PARKING APPLICATIONS WILL BE DUE BACK TO HER BY TUESDAY, MAY 31ST. Your application will not be entered in the lottery if she does not receive it by this day. Please make sure you have completed every part of the application and sign it appropriately. Our priority list is as follows:
1. Seniors with NEVAC/Satellite/Running Start classes where there is no district shuttle offered.
2. Juniors with NEVAC/Satellite/Running Start classes where there is no district shuttle offered.
3. Seniors who participate in after school sports and ASB clubs and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
4. Seniors who have work after school and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (lottery drawing).
5. Seniors with cumulative GPA of 2.5 (lottery drawing).
6. Juniors who participate in after school sports and ASB clubs and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (lottery drawing).
Please be reminded that even if you are taking a NEVAC or Running Start class next year, you need to complete an application like all other students. Anyone taking a Running Start or NEVAC class, is in a sport no matter what season, is in an ASB club or activity or works, must submit that information in the area designated at the top of the application. Each application must be signed by the student and parent/guardian.
Army Recruiter Visit: If you are interested in learning more about the Army a recruiter will be available Tuesday, May 10th during lunches.
Navy Recruiter Visit: A Navy Recruiter will be available in the Commons during lunches this Wednesday if you have any questions about the Navy.
PTSA SCHOLARSHIP - $3000: Two $1500 scholarships will be awarded this year to seniors from Woodinville's PTSA. These are only for WHS STUDENTS!!!! The application deadline was just recently extended to May 20th so please get your applications in soon! Applications are available from the Career Center. See Ms. Ackley or Ms. Yamada if you have any questions.
Important wrestling meeting: for the upcoming weight training and off-season workouts. Please come meet Coach Culpepper in the weight room at 9am (at Options) Wednesday, May 11th. It is time to get bigger, faster and stronger.
AFTER SCHOOL GEOMETRY TUTORING - every Thursday in Mr. Clark's classroom, 312. There is still time to improve your math grade before the school year ends; you can get help on your homework, prepare for upcoming tests, and gain better understanding of concepts every Thursday after school. You do not have to formally sign up, just drop in. Students in other math classes besides geometry are welcome. As always there are plentiful snacks and on occasion, pizza, for all who attend.
Prom tickets: will be on sale now until - May 10th, for $50.00 a ticket! Before you may purchase a ticket, we must have your Party Bus/Limo form on file, (see Mrs. Krochmalny) so make sure your Party Bus/Limo student coordinator gets the form into us ASAP! Also, if you are bringing a guest, please be sure to have a guest form filled out and signed by Mr. Agnew or Mrs. Skone! THIS IS THE ONLY TIME YOU MAY PURCHASE TICKETS, SO DON'T FORGET! Tickets will be sold during 1st and 2nd lunch in commons. Please make check out to WHS. Remember if you have any school fines, you may NOT purchase tickets until those fines are cleared. Thank you.
