STUDENTS:

Scholarships!! Scholarships!! Scholarships!!

We've just received a variety of new scholarships. Please stop by the Career Center to view all the new scholarships we've received and to find out if one might be a good fit for you. There's one for almost everyone!

Attention Students!!  The date for Tolo has changed from Saturday, January 22nd.  The new date will be Saturday, February 5th in the Commons.

Ladies who love pretty dresses!  A new, local non-profit organization, Donate A Dress, is looking for gently used formal dresses (homecoming, prom, etc.), shoes, and accessories to be donated so that they may provide them to local low-income teens. If you are able to donate, or think you may need a donated dress, please contact www.DonateaDress.org.

Sophomore Parking Lot to be closed: due to construction for the entire month of January AND February!

AFTER SCHOOL GEOMETRY TUTORING
Could you use some help with GEOMETRY?  Do you often feel lost in your GEOMETRY class?  Beginning Thursday, January 13, 2011, there will be after school tutoring sessions every Thursday from 2-3 pm in Mr. Clark's Room 312.  Mr. Clark, Para-educator Ms. Malone and some very capable students will be available to help you with geometry.  SNACKS will be plentiful for all who attend.  Don't miss this opportunity to improve your first semester grade and get off to a better start for second semester.  Please contact Mr. Clark (eclark@nsd.org) in room 312 or Ms. Malone (pmalone2@nsd.org) in the Learning Center, Rm. 4, for more information and/or to sign up.

Woodinville High School
Advanced Placement and College Credit in the High School
When: January 27, 2011, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Where: Woodinville High School, Main Gym and Commons
Who: Anyone interested in the Advanced Placement (AP) Program or courses offering College Credit at WHS.  Parents and students are invited to attend.
What: The Woodinville High School Advanced Placement (AP), Honors & College in the High School Information Night is an opportunity for parents and students to learn and gather information about the AP program, honors and college credit courses that are offered at WHS.

Please stay out of the gym when classes are in session.  Racket Sports is not for "drop in" players but rather for those who are taking the class.  You are not allowed in the gym unless invited by the instructor.

When using the WHS Library, please practice library etiquette: food and beverages are eaten in the Commons, cell phones are used outside, computers are for academic purposes, headphones are used when working with sound.  Thanks for keeping the library a great place for everyone!

Construction Campus Safety:  Please be careful out and around campus.  Things are changing everyday.  For example, where a sidewalk was, is no more!  Also, with the weather being inclement, it is difficult to know what is slippery and what is not.  Thanks for being careful!

Students at Lunch: Due to problems around campus and supervision issues, students need to remain in the Commons, Student Store or Library during their lunch.  If students make arrangements to see teachers during lunch, please get permission or a pass from the teacher/administrator.

STAFF:

Please do not allow students to come down to the gym during free time or when they have finished with their work.  We have had a lot of "drop in players". Students are only allowed in the gym if they have written permission from on of us down here.
