Lockwood Egg Drop Huge Success!

SchoolCenter Picture

Over 180 Lockwood Elementary School students put their science skills to the test by creating parachutes and other devices to protect their eggs from a drop from the Northshore Fire Departments' truck ladder in the Lockwood PTA Egg Drop. Seventy-five percent of those eggs survived drops ranging from 40 feet to 100 feet. Class prizes for the highest participation in the event went to the students in Ms. Leslee's, Ms. Dinell's/Ms Graff's, Ms. Frei's and Ms. Paulette's classes. Special thank you to the Lockwood PTA, Northshore Fire Department and all the parent volunteers who made this event a huge success!
