3/18/13 > MSP Testing
The Measurements of Student Progress (MSP) is the state’s exam for students in grades 3-8. Students are tested in reading (grades 3-8), mathematics (grades 3-8) writing (grades 4 and 7) and science (grades 5 and 8). The reading, math and science assessments are given in one session. The writing assessment is given in two sessions and both sessions must be attended. All testing will be done at Monte Villa and will begin at 9:00 AM.

The test schedule is as follows:

April 29 - Reading - Grades 3-8
April 30 - Math - Grades 3-8
May 1 - Writing Day 1 - Grades 4 & 7
May 1 - Science - Grades 5 & 8
May 2 - Writing Day 2 - Grades 4 & 7
May 6 - Make Up For All Assessments

1/03/13 > Math End of Course Retake
January 2013 End of Course (EOC) Math Retake

The End of Course Math Retake Exam will be given on January 30, 2013 at Monte Villa beginning at 8:00 am. Juniors and Seniors who have not yet met the State’s math assessment graduation requirement and plan to graduate with a Northshore diploma are required to take this exam. Sophomores who did not pass the End of Course Algebra exam in June 2012 have the option of retesting. There is no make-up date for this testing.

Students in the classes of 2013 and 2014 must pass one math EOC in Algebra or Geometry to satisfy a portion of the graduation assessment requirements.

Students in the class of 2015 and beyond must pass math EOCs in Algebra and Geometry and the Biology EOC to satisfy a portion of the graduation assessment requirements.

10/15/12 > Open House
Open House at Northshore Networks. Meet your teachers, have a picture taken and purchase a package or get a free ID card.

Pictures from 4-5 only. Open House is 4-6 pm. Pizza on us!
10/12/12 > Non-Student Day
There are no cohorts or consulting appointments on this day. Make sure you touch base with your consultants to stay on track.
8/15/12 > School Begins
School Begins on Tuesday, September 4. Prior to this, teachers return to Northshore Networks on August 29 and 30. During these two days, please be aware that your consulting teacher will contact you via email or phone to discuss your first appointment of the school year.
