Heather Knight, Ma. Ed
Heather Knight co-founded Leadership Innovations Team LLC, a coaching, consulting and training firm dedicated to the continuous professional improvement of individuals, teams and organizations.
As a public school educator, Heather has teaching experience in kindergarten through fifth grade as well as experience as an elementary school principal. At the state level, Heather worked with both large and small districts to improve the educational experience of children and the success of educators as a regional director for professional development for 17 districts in ESD 114. Trained in organizational development and strategic planning, she has conducted and implemented professional development and school improvement planning opportunities for K-12 educators and district leaders in multiple states. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and literacy, a master's degree in curriculum, instruction and professional development and a professional diploma in school district administration.
Heather fully understands the challenges educators face as they negotiate today's often difficult educational landscape. "But with those challenges also come opportunities," she says. "My goal is to help them not only succeed but thrive professionally even in difficult times."
Conn McQuinn
Conn McQuinn is director of the Educational Technology Support Center at Puget Sound ESD in Renton, Washington. Conn has a Masters in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction and has 25 years of educational experience at both the Pacific Science Center and Puget Sound ESD. He spent the first 15 years of his career working for the Pacific Science Center, including ten years managing their traveling science van program. He has been at Puget Sound ESD since 1992, and has taught hundreds of hours of workshops on topics ranging from robotics to digital photography, and managed a number of grants focused on the use of technology in the classroom.
