Born and raised in Seattle, I graduated from Ingraham High School. I completed both my B.A. and teaching degree at the University of Washington, and have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from City University. This is my 21st year teaching at Arrowhead. The first 18 years I spent teaching grades 4-6th, and the last three I have enjoyed being the Health and Fitness teacher.

I LOVE to … spend time experiencing new things with my family, run on trails, eat different kinds of food, and watch kids grow and learn.

It's FUN for me to . . . build houses with family and friends, learn something new, work on home improvement projects, be on the water in a boat, and watch the sun set over the ocean.

I wish I was BETTER at . . .smiling, training dogs, always eating healthy, and anything artistic.
