  Northshore will run a $12 million Supplemental Educational Maintenance and Operations Levy on August 17 to sustain funding support for student learning.
  In March, the state legislature passed a law allowing communities to temporarily increase the amount of local levy support for their schools through a supplemental levy.  The four-year measure would help offset statewide funding cuts by increasing the levy lid by 4%.
