ABSENCES


Each day your child is absent , please call the school's 24-hour number (425) 408-4310 to let us know the reason for your child's absence. A note to the teacher must be sent after each absence, stating the nature of the illness or other reason for the absence.

Excused absences : doctor or dentist appointments, sick child.

More than 13 absences a year are viewed as excessive except for extenuating illnesses with doctor's support.



TARDIES

When arriving at school late, students should first check in at the office before going to their classroom. A note from the parent explaining the reason for being late is, again, appreciated. More than 5 late arrivals a year is considered excessive.
