YMCA HomeZone and TeenZone programs
Dear Northshore Networks families,
The Northshore School District has a strong partnership with the Northshore YMCA in the education of students, and the Northshore YMCA provides a variety of services and opportunities for our local youth.
We recently sent you a communication informing you that the district was no longer issuing vouchers for the Northshore YMCA Home Zone/Tween Zone/Teen Zone program because of a change in the Washington State Alternative Learning Experience program requirements.
Although the district is no longer issuing vouchers for this useful program, the Northshore YMCA will continue to offer Home/Tween/Teen Zone to families. Registration for the fall session began Monday, Aug. 1, and the cost for the program is $85 for YMCA facility members and $100 for YMCA program members. Scholarships or reduced fees may be available from the Northshore YMCA for families who qualify. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
NSD and Northshore YMCA continue to partner on a variety of programs and opportunities for Northshore youth and families. Please contact Chris Bellecourt, Northshore YMCA, 425.318.8008, for more information about Northshore YMCA programs.
Please contact Debi Forsell, Northshore Networks, 425.408.4175, with questions or concerns regarding Northshore Networks HomeZone changes.
