I graduated from Bothell High School, class of 1989. In high school, I was active in French Club, Band, Track & Field, Tennis, and I was even on the Bowling Team for one season!
After high school, I studied French, Music, and Education at Western Washington University in Bellingham. I got my Bachelor's Degree in 1994 and my teaching certification in 1996.
I've traveled to France several times with student groups, and I even lived in a castle in the Loire Valley with an American theatre troop during the summer of 2000!
I've been teaching at Bothell High School since 1996. One of the highlights of my career is simply being in an atmosphere where we share the joy of learning together.
Outside of school, I play the violin in community orchestras and small chamber music ensembles. I also play at events such as recitals, weddings, fund raisers, campaigns, receptions, dinners, and house parties.
Other interests include swimming, jogging, yoga, reading, visiting with friends and family, and listening to music. Other favorites: Bach, classic rock, ethnic food, world history, politics, thought & spirituality, summer evenings, humor, and interesting conversation.
