Along with other schools in our counties, we have increased absenteeism for flu illnesses. It would not be unusual to see absence rates in the classroom or school of 10 to 20 percent. We continue to remind students about prevention strategies and appreciate your help with keeping ill children at home until they are fever free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication). If your student is sick, please keep your student home. When they are well, they may communicate with their teachers regarding homework assignments. It is easiest to reach the teachers by email.
The Northshore School District continues to post HINI (Swine Flu) updates for parents. Please click on the link below to reach the latest information.
