COURSE DESCRIPTION 

 

This course is designed to build on the foundation of last year’s work which in accordance with the Pre-AP level,  will challenge students in an effort to prepare them for level 3 and ultimately for Advanced Placement German (level 4) and the accompanying AP German Exam. Students are expected to actively communicate in German as much as possible in conversation and role-playing in the classroom. Increased emphasis is placed on reading and writing German.

German II Pre-AP

  • Tests and Quizzes  40
  • Homework and Class Work 40
    • Oral Participation
    • Reading and Discussion
    • Short Written Assignments
    • Cultural Participation
  • Essays and Projects  20
    • Longer written assignments
    • Out of class research projects

 

 

Homework: Students will likely have homework due each class period. Even when no homework is assigned, student always have material to read and review.
