Answers
1)  Q What do we do in the event of inclement weather?
A
In the event of inclement weather: Check our home page for closure/late start information

When other Northshore district schools are "One hour late" the following schedule will apply for HSN:

Classes - 9 a.m. classes will be canceled. School starts at 10 a.m.
Consulting - 8 & 9 a.m. consulting will be canceled and rescheduled - contact your consultant to reschedule.
2)  Q When will I know who my child's consultant is?
A
Families that are continuing with HSN from the current school year will receive a letter in the mail (shortly after the summer begins) showing each student's consulting assignment. Families that are new to the program will be notified in mid- to late-August of their student's consulting assignment.
3)  Q Where can I sit with my other child/ren while one is in a club?
A
We have a parent/student lounge and study area on the Leota campus. It is located in Portable 6 and provides an escape from the weather as well as the opportunity to connect with other homeschooling parents/students in the program.
4)  Q Is the Leota HSN campus part of Leota Jr. High school?
A
No, HSN is not part of the Leota Jr. High school.

We are housed in a separate area, our staff and administration personnel are separate and we do not, normally, use the facilities of Leota Jr. High. For large, after-school events, such as Science Fair or spring plays we do get permission to use specific areas, such as the cafeteria or theatre. Our normal use area is the fenced area at the northeast corner of the district property that houses LJH.
