Activities, Games and Inflatables

Parties and School Sponsored Field Trips:  During the school year, many schools plan special events that involve bringing games and activities on campus or visiting off campus locations through field trips. While many of the schools repeat similar activities from year to year, it is important for schools to check with Purchasing and/or Risk Management to be assured that the activity is covered by our current liability and insurance program.  Parties that include swimming pools, private boating activities, air flights, and balloon flights are definitely activities that our liability insurance does not cover. 

Please - do not sign any contracual agreement with any vendor:  Forward the agreements to Purchasing for review as the liability requirements on the company agreements may need to be addressed PRIOR to a purchase order being processed. If an event is not allowed, cancellation may have to occur. You can contact the Purchasing Department (7651) or Risk Management (7630) if you have questions regarding this process.

Games & Inflatables:  To assist in determining if your school's planned activities are allowed, the Amusement Activities Checklist must be completed and attached to your Purchase Order.  Please also take the time to read the Choosing Safer Inflatables guidance.  This document provides valuable information when determining which attractions are suitable for your event.
