- This is an opportunity for you to give feedback on the podcasts that we do in class, and to read feedback on your own productions.
- You need to look at the thread, and add your comments to the appropriate thread.
- You need to type in your name, and not leave the Name line as "Your Name".
- You will get graded on your input.
- The more videos you comment on and the more detailed your comments, will effect your grade for the entire class. You will not be able to read the comments, as I will read them first. You need to realize that the information I see will give me the exact time the comment was written, and will give me the IP address. Inappropriate comments will result in an after school detention.
- Tell the producer of the podcast what you liked about the podcast, and what you feel they need to work on to make their videos better.
Please comment on the video for the following items: - Sound Quality

These guys are amazing. There is some funny stuff here, and they did a nice job of showing you how to find stuff in the library. Nice work with the music and sound effects. Good camera angles on the stairs. |

Evan and Brandon, but mostly Evan, did the editing on this, with three other cameras. Do you think he captured the essence of the day? |
Posted by John Roper on Thursday, Mar 31st, 2011.
Hmmmmm.... I have seen the commercials, and they did not have as many people saying Yummm. Commercials can last as long as only 10 seconds. You need to pay more attention to the staging, and editing. Good idea though. I really like the part when Kristen walks towards the group and says, "Yummmm". Good use of the tripod with that clip. |

I liked this video because of the background, and Ashlen did a good job with the questions and looking like she was really listening to the answers.
There seemed to be a lot of Umm's in the questioning, and also, you can see the gum. This is a little bit distracting. |

This was a good start. Well done on the script. |
Posted by John Roper on Tuesday, Mar 29th, 2011.
This was a nice start. Sometimes it seemed kind of random, but you tied it together with some silly shots that seemed to fit well. There was no closure on this, and we really didn't get an introduction from any of you on this video. |

R & R Fitness:
Interesting start. I would like to see better sound, and certainly better camera angles. You were looking at the floor instead of the camera when you started. Remember, you have less than one minute to teach the viewer a new exercise. You can not spend a lot of time up front having discussions. |
