Board Approves Three Measures for February 2010 Election

H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) Information
Updated information and resources regarding H1N1 Influenza (swine flu) are available
online at the district Web site under "Health and Safety."
The district has a
pandemic flu plan in place and continues to work closely with the
county and state health departments to monitor flu conditions and take
appropriate actions.

Seminar for TRS and SERS Plan 3 Members
We will be hosting a seminar on TRS/SERS Plan 3, Thursday, October 29, Administrative Center Board Room, at 4:30 PM.
403(b) Information
All
employees who consistently work a minimum of 17.5 hours each week are
eligible to participate in the 403(b) or Deferred Compensation Program
(DCP). The amount you elect to contribute is not included in your
current year's income for federal tax purposes.

Foundation Needs Volunteers
The Northshore Schools Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with the 5th Annual Fall Phone-a-thon to raise funds for new instructional materials for students and teachers. This year's dates are Tuesday, Nov. 3 - Thursday, Nov. 5 from 5:30-8:30 PM at the Administrative Center.
Grab your friends and meet at the phone bank for an evening of calling and/or helping "behind the scenes." Many volunteers are needed to ensure success. We look forward to you joining us and "Calling for Kids!"
