On Cursed Black Wings by Amelia Dutra
Demonic angel, With wings so dark and wide, Take me to the afterlife, The place where I reside. I will not fall now, I’m sure I’ll find my way. Don’t worry about me, You won’t catch me anyway. We have archangels, That bring us to our deaths. They always watch us, They watch our final breaths. On the border, Making sure we all behave, Impatient with us, Since some of us aren’t brave. Into the night sky, Lamenting for the dead, One can’t imagine how Very many tears they shed. Eternally reapers, Yearning for comfort of a life, Only immortals, Under their endless strife. |
