Fallen Angel
By Stephanie Rairdan
Heaven's calling, yet I see no hope.
With all this pain, I cannot cope.
I'm waiting for my saviour
To rescue me from this unending pain.
The fallen, that's who we are.
Darkness of our wounds took us too far.
The Devil's domain is all that awaits
As Heaven rejects us from snow-white gates.
Music, my only drug, will show the way
To where we may be happy and gay.
With only the music playing,
I'll continue saying,
"We're no longer captive bound.
Oh! What a glorious sound."
The perfect weapon is strong words
To yield the massing herds.
I haven't God's blessing.
All there is is the scream of mothers stressing.
Though what about, I haven't a clue.
All I know is that it is time we pay our due.
Sent to live with another demon,
I cannot carry on.
Sayonara, a**holes.
You succeeded in your goal.
Sick of this pain, I sold my soul
Only to find that more hatred waits on the other side.
Though I cannot get into tranquility, no matter how hard I tried.
I'm the fallen angel, dead to all,
having no call.
Lost in the world in between, to carry on forever alone,
Silent pain's seed is sown.
