There are state tests required for graduation in the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. The Smarter Balanced ELA exam which combines both the reading and writing components into one test. There is also a Smarter Balanced Math exam. In addition, there are Math and Science tests called EOC exams (End-of-Course). The Smarter Balanced ELA and Math tests are offered twice each year in the spring with a retake the following November. EOC Math and Biology exams are offered twice each year in June with a retake the following February.
