Welcome to Maywood Hills Elementary School, home of the Tigers. We take great pride in our diverse student body, dedicated staff and supportive community.
Maywood Hills is a vibrant learning community that recognizes and nurtures the academic and creative potential of every child. We have an unfailing belief that all children can meet or exceed yearly standards and goals and be well prepared for the academic challenges ahead.
Our hard working, experienced staff is dedicated to continuous professional growth, embracing a learning community model that allows teachers to learn from each other and that provides common planning time where grade-level teachers can strategize, assess student work and learn together—all in the service of children.
Our learning community stretches beyond our schoolhouse gates. We welcome Bothell High School Teaching Academy students into our classrooms, we partner with the University of Washington- Bothell and our staff members mentor students from the University’s Teacher Education Program.
We look forward to new challenges and opportunities as we prepare our young citizens for the exciting, complex and ever-changing world. Please stop by and share your time and talents. Together, we will continue to make Maywood Hills an exceptional place of learning.
