    Thought for the day:

    Starting strong is good. Finishing strong is epic.

     

    There are still yearbooks available. Cost is $35.  Please bring exact change or a check made payable to KJH. You must have all fines paid before you can receive your yearbook.

     

    Now that the lockers are locked please do not bring your backpacks to school on Monday.

     

    If you have your cell phone remember they must be turned off and put away.

     

    When you arrive at school on Monday you will wait in the courtyard until you are directed to enter the gym for the annual KJH Talent Show.

     

    Have a fun and safe summer and good luck to all of you entering high school next year.  Don’t forget where you came from – Go Colts!

    A great accomplishment shouldn’t be the end of the road, just the starting point for the next leap forward.

    Stop by Mrs. Walker's classroom before school, during 1st lunch, or after school to pick up your time capsules from 7th grade! 

     

    First semester ceramics students, please come to the art room (429) and collect your finished pieces.

    Today is the 8th grade recognition assembly at 1:00.  Parents are invited to attend.

     

    Thursday morning is the 9th grade recognition assembly.  This is a formal event so 9th graders are encouraged to dress up.  Per our usual policy, you cannot leave campus unless you have a note signed by your parent or your parent signs you out in the office.  If you are leaving with another parent, you must have a note signed by your parent giving permission.

     

    You must take all the items in your locker home today. Lockers will not be available to use after today.

    Hard work is a two-way street.  You get back exactly what you put in.

     

    Hey, 8th Graders!! Your party is tonight from 8 to 11pm, in the KJH Courtyard. PTSA is still accepting permission slips up until 3:00 today. If you decide to come at the last minute they will accept payment at the start of the evening.

     

    Yearbooks are now on sale through today or until they are sold out.  Cost is $35.  Please bring exact change or a check made payable to KJH. Your parents can pay for it online also.

     

    Any 8th and 9th grade girls interested in swimming for Inglemoor in the fall can talk to the Inglemoor coach during lunch today.

    Hey Kenmore Colts! We are celebrating our last Spirit Week as a junior high!!!  Today is Bikers vs Surfers Day and tomorrow is Colt Day!  Show us your spirit and lets end the year celebrating our time here at Kenmore Junior High!  Let's go Colts!

    We are excited for the students who have signed up for the party and there are many other students who have expressed interest for signing up to come this Thursday the 15th to The Aqua Club Clubhouse in Kenmore!

    We heard your feedback and will have good music, food, games & places to hang out together. The basketball court is available for you as well as professionals who will teach you how to play the gaming tables.
